A Note from Nan Witcomb
Philip Ransome is a man with a poet’s soul. He invites us into his heart which is filled with memories and his dreams of what might have been. He is not a Buddhist, but chose the title for his poems and thoughts, Walking With Buddha (through Love, Loss and Life) because similar beliefs brought him out of a very sad, bewildering world when he lost his dear brother, Rick, who tragically died unexpectedly at a very young age.
Philip bravely reveals his feelings at that time, and in the years which followed. He gives us an understanding of others who have lost loved ones, but more importantly how it can affect many of us in the same way.
One of the lesser known results of these tragedies in our lives can bring confusion and a desperate yearning for love to fill our loneliness. With incredible honesty, Philip tells us of many loves which have now become memories and his dreams of what might have been.
His descriptions of the breath-taking moment when we begin to fall in love, will appeal to young and old and men and women. Philip travelled the world, became a proud and loving father and moved on to become a successful business advisor with a poet’s soul that he is today.
You will be surprised at how many of his thoughts are also yours.

In a world often filled with hustle and bustle, where lives intermingle like streams converging into a river, there are those who stand by the banks, observing with an attentive eye and an open heart. Phil Ransome, my dear friend, is one such soul, and his book "The Language of Relationships" is a testament to his unique gift of insight into life's many facets.
I have the privilege of calling Phil a friend, and throughout our friendship, he has consistently shown himself to be a man of exceptional character. His generosity, thoughtfulness, and caring nature extend far beyond the pages of this book. He is a trusted friend who, no matter how busy life becomes, always finds time for others.
But Phil's talents extend beyond his professional acumen. He is, above all, a keen observer of life's grand tapestry. He finds inspiration not only in his own experiences but also in the stories of those he encounters along his journey. His poems and verses are a reflection of this profound ability to see beneath the surface, to discern the unspoken emotions, and to uncover the hidden narratives that define us.
Phil is, in essence, a people watcher—an artful observer of the human condition. He listens intently to the whispers of the heart and captures them with eloquence. He makes us laugh, he makes us think, and he makes us feel. In his writing, he shares with us the essence of what it means to be human.

BIO

By day I am a business owner and business advisor and I work with business people, entrepreneurs, families and businesses both large and small, helping owners and key staff to improve their results, their lifestyle, their ideas and their operations.
It's a great gig to have and I know that I am privileged to have it. But ask me what I am passionate about and its two things:
I love helping people and in that context, it means the work I do every day is what I love. Nothing could be truer.
Secondly, I love writing and if I could do anything and not worry about the money, it would invariably involve writing.
This is what I spend time thinking about when I am not at work, and occasionally when I am at work!
